Bee Vacation

We sent two of our hives on a bee vacation.  They are visiting Pumpkinland to help with a little pollination!  This was their excitement after we let them free.

We created way too many logos and then we couldn't decide.  SO, we asked our Facebook friends and that didn't help either!  OH MY - it was crazy!  Every logo got votes and people had great rationale for their choices.  It almost came down to eeny meeny miney mo! 

But we did it - we wanted a graphic that could be used on any of our honey products and we wanted one that was easy to see and would catch your eye.

So here it is!

Nothing like the Smell of Fresh Honey

Our honey supers were full to the gills - so you either buy more or you harvest.  We opted for harvest.  We took some of our full frames and borrowed a beekeeper pal's extractor and saw the golden juices flow.  When you have a good year with the bees - it sure feels rewarding!
